Working Principle
SF-J380D Modular Impact Crusher is a stationary impact crusher designed with a modular structure, engineered to efficiently process materials such as concrete, asphalt, and construction waste. At the core of its operation is a high-inertia rotor and a mechanical clamping impact plate system. As the rotor spins at high speed, it propels the incoming material against the impact plates, causing it to fracture under intense kinetic energy. This method ensures high crushing efficiency while reducing wear on key components.
The crusher features adjustable settings, allowing operators to control the final product size by modifying the rotor speed or the spacing between the impact plates and the crushing chamber. This makes the SF-J380D adaptable to various material specifications and output requirements.

More Details
1. Single Power Version & Dual Power Version
SF-J380D Modular Impact Crusher is available in two versions: Single Power and Dual Power.
- Single Power Version: Requires an external power supply when crushing stones, suitable for job sites with stable electricity.
- Dual Power Version: More versatile. When a stable power supply is not available, the machine can operate directly with diesel.
2. Engine
- Standard Configuration: Equipped with a branded engine meeting China National III emission standard.
- Optional Upgrades: Can be upgraded to China Stage IV, EPA Tier 4, or Euro V engines to comply with local environmental regulations.

FAQ
Q1: What is the difference between the SF-J380D modular impact crusher and a tracked mobile impact crusher?
A: The SF-J380D is a skid-mounted / stationary modular plant — it arrives in pre-assembled modules (feeder, 1214 impact crusher, screen, conveyors) that bolt into place with minimal concrete foundation work. A tracked mobile crusher moves on tracks and is better for frequent relocation between scattered job sites. Choose the SF-J380D when you need higher daily throughput (150–240 TPH) at a lower capital cost, and the plant will operate in roughly the same location for months at a time (quarry, stationary recycling yard, or pre-screening station).
Q2: What feed size and output gradation can the SF-J380D handle?
A: Maximum feed size is ≤700 mm (typical design rating ≤600 mm into the 1214 crusher inlet at 1380×1000 mm). The closed-side / impact-plate setting adjusts from roughly 0–150 mm, letting you dial in a 40–150 mm primary crushed fraction or, when paired with the on-board screen, produce multiple sized aggregates (e.g. 0–5 / 5–20 / 20–40 mm depending on screen mesh). Final shape is highly cubical because impact crushing fractures along natural cleavage planes.
Q3: Which materials can the SF-J380D process reliably?
A: It is specified for soft to medium-hard, low- to moderate-abrasion materials: limestone, dolomite, bluestone, gypsum, coal, weathered sandstone, and construction & demolition waste (demolished concrete, bricks, asphalt chunks). For high-silica / high-abrasion rock (granite, basalt, river cobbles) an impact crusher will accelerate blow-bar wear — in those applications we normally recommend a jaw + cone configuration instead. Tell us your material’s UCS / abrasiveness and we’ll confirm suitability.
Q4: What are the single-power and dual-power options?
A: Two versions are available:
Single-power (electric): connects to site mains / generator power; best when the yard already has stable 3-phase electric supply. Total crushing working power ≈ 308 kW.
Dual-power (electric + diesel auxiliary): keeps the plant running when grid power is unstable or temporary — diesel drives auxiliary systems so you don’t lose throughput. This is popular for remote quarries and government sites in regions with unreliable grids.
Q5: What engine / emission levels are available, and will it clear customs in my country?
A: Standard engine package meets China National III. We regularly upgrade to China Stage IV / EPA Tier 4 Final / Euro V on request so the plant clears local environmental import rules (EU, Middle East premium projects, etc.). Let us know your destination port + target emission rule and we’ll configure the documentation and engine spec before production.
Q6: What is the lead time, warranty, and after-sales support?
A: Typical ex-works lead time is 20–25 working days after down payment. Warranty is 12 months from commissioning with a full set of wear parts shipped together. After delivery our engineers can travel for on-site commissioning & operator training (or conduct it by video call if you prefer). Long-term wear-part supply is contracted — blow bars, liners, screen cloth, belts — with drawings and part numbers standardized so you can reorder without guesswork.
