Working Principle
The SY‑HP300 is a crawler-mounted mobile cone crusher designed for high-efficiency secondary or tertiary crushing. It uses a multi-cylinder hydraulic system that drives an eccentric rotating shaft, which moves the inner cone (mantle) in a gyratory motion inside the fixed outer cone. This creates high-pressure compression of the material within the specially shaped crushing chamber, based on the principle of inter-particle lamination. By combining increased rotational speed with an extended stroke, the crusher achieves high crushing ratios, producing cubical and fine-grained end products with minimal needle-shaped fragments.
Hydraulic adjustment allows for precise control of the discharge opening (typically adjustable within 30–50 mm), while its overload protection system safeguards between the mantle and concave when hard, uncrushable items enter, ensuring safe and uninterrupted operation.
Application
The SY‑HP300 excels in several demanding environments:
-
Mining operations: Ideal for processing both metal and non-metal ores (e.g., gold, copper, iron), delivering precise particle sizes required for downstream processing stages.
- Manufactured sand production: Integrated within sand-making lines, it delivers high-quality, well-graded sand for concrete and mortar.
- Construction aggregate: Tailored for producing aggregates for concrete and asphalt applications, supporting large-scale production plants thanks to its 200–300 tph capacity.
- Urban infrastructure and demolition waste: Its tracked chassis enables easy relocation in confined spaces, making it well-suited for roadworks, building demolition, and recycling projects.
Overall, the SY‑HP300 strikes a balance between portability and output, delivering consistent performance in mobile crushing setups.

FAQ
Q1: What is the difference between a mobile jaw crusher and a mobile cone crusher?
A1: A jaw crusher is used for primary crushing to break large rocks into smaller pieces. A cone crusher is used for secondary or tertiary crushing to further reduce the material size and produce high-quality, cubical-shaped aggregates.
Q2: How often do the wear parts (mantle and concave) need replacement?
A2: The lifespan of wear parts depends on the abrasiveness of the material and operating hours. Typically, with standard operation, mantle and concave parts last between 3 to 6 months. We provide a full set of wear parts with every machine and guarantee long-term supply.
Q3: Is the SY-HP300 suitable for recycling applications?
A3: While primarily designed for mining and quarrying, the SY-HP300 can be used in recycling circuits if the feed material is pre-processed to remove metals and contaminants that could damage the crushing chamber.
Q4: How do you adjust the discharge size on the SY-HP300?
A4: The SY-HP300 features a hydraulic adjustment system that allows operators to easily change the closed-side setting (CSS) to produce different aggregate sizes without stopping the machine.
